Dr. Sheryl Levy is board certified in General Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Levy was the recipient of a “Compassionate Care Award” from the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare. She is frequently invited to give lectures to parents, educators, and medical professionals on many topics in developmental medicine including positive behavior management at home and in the classroom, executive function, resilience, and ADHD.

Dr. Levy’s passions include discovering children’s strengths and ways to leverage their strengths to address challenges. Some of her areas of special interest and expertise are executive function, ADHD, dyslexia, giftedness, twice exceptionality, and positive behavior management. She is a Certified Trainer in The Incredible Years® , an evidence-based program designed to prevent and treat behavior problems and promote social, emotional and academic competence in children.

Dr. Levy graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at UMass Medical Center. Dr. Levy was a general pediatrician for several years before pursuing a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. She completed her specialty training in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at the Center for Children with Special Needs at Tufts Medical Center under the mentorship of other developmental pediatricians who share her passion for understanding, supporting and advocating for children with developmental differences. After completing her training at Tufts Medical Center, Dr. Levy was an attending Developmental Pediatrician, where she cared for children with developmental disabilities and trained and mentored pediatric residents and fellows. She continues to participate in the teaching of trainees as an Adjunct Professor at Tufts Medical Center. She is also affiliated with Newton Wellesley Hospital and Mass General Brigham.

Dr. Levy enjoys spending time with her husband, her two boys and their Labrador retriever.
